Artist Bio
Melis Ragusin is a mixed-media and new media artist working across AI-driven video art, real-time generative systems, fine art prints, and sculptural wall pieces. Her practice explores impermanence, emotional presence, and the shifting nature of identity through cinematic motion and evolving digital structures.
Born in Izmir, Turkey, she studied International Relations & Economics at Towson University (USA) and completed the Artificial Intelligence: Business Strategies and Applications program at UC Berkeley Executive Education. She continues to expand her practice through advanced studies in generative systems and cinematic storytelling.
Ragusin moves fluidly between tactile materials and algorithmic environments, building visual systems that evolve over time. Her work bridges digital aesthetics with physical craftsmanship and has been exhibited internationally.
Selected Exhibitions & Media
Her work has been presented at international art fairs and exhibitions including Art Miami, Context Art Miami, the Venice International Art Fair, Art Weeks Istanbul, and the Cannes Yachting Festival, and has been featured in interviews and publications such as Oksijen, ITS LIQUID, and ArtTV.

Artist Statement
I work at the intersection of emotional storytelling, cinematic motion, and generative systems.
My practice explores environments where visuals evolve through internal logic rather than fixed timelines. I am drawn to impermanence — how identities shift, how atmospheres transform, how emotions surface and dissolve.
Each work functions as a living presence. Some are structured as immersive loops; others operate as generative systems that continuously reshape themselves.
I create to explore presence — and to invite viewers into their own emotional interpretation. The same piece can evoke entirely different experiences from person to person. That variability is central to my practice.
Change is constant. My work reflects that motion.
