Red is a tactile exploration of tension, memory, and material transformation. A vivid red cloth—twisted, folded, and fossilized in epoxy and plaster—floats between two plexiglass layers, casting shadows onto a golden, shimmering MDF base.
The work’s symmetrical 100 x 100 cm square format invites balance, yet the chaotic energy of the fabric’s form disrupts any sense of stillness. The use of reclaimed materials adds a layer of history and human presence, while the transparent casing preserves the raw expression like a contemporary relic. Bold yet vulnerable, Red speaks to beauty shaped under pressure.
